Remember AleXa, the Oklahoma-born K-Pop star that won the American Song Contest a few years ago?
She is now competing in Melodifestivalen 2026, the national selection contest for Sweden's entry into Eurovision.
Because it's a song competition, the song writer needs to be Swedish...and there are Swedish song writers that are also KPop writers...AleXa has had a Swedish connection for years.
"On December 2, SVT, the Swedish national broadcaster, officially announced that AleXa would particpate in Melodifestivalen 2026, the Swedish national final for Eurovision 2026, with the song "Tongue Tied". The song will be released on February 27, 2026, a day prior to her live performance in Heat 5 of the show."
