Just got done with the Monday night net for @W8RP ARROW Ann Arbor MI. Our temporary home for this net is the WB8TKL repeater at 146.74- as the regular ARROW repeater was extracted from Wolverine Tower last week pending demolition plans for the building.

If you are in the Ann Arbor area please add this repeater to your radios! It's also linked to the W8IRA repeater network system most of the time (but not for the 800p Monday net).

Happy to report that I will be again be on the #ARROW @W8RP board for 2026 as Public Information Officer - board elections were tonight.

Thanks to Ralph #AA8RK who did the PIO job in 2024 and who is now stepping into the role of #ARRL Michigan Section Manager for 2026.

Also thanks to new board member Ron #N8TEN who is taking over as activities coordinator from Dinesh @AB3DC .

The new board was elected by acclimation and was met with thunderous applause, i.e. no one else wanted to run.

News from the #ARROW meeting (Ann Arbor area radio club, just completed its December membership meeting).

Good news! The club now has a donated trailer and a start of plans to kit it out as a mobile trailer for radio operations.

Not so good news! The long-standing location of our repeater, Wolverine Tower, is being torn down. Plans afoot to temporarily relocate the weekly net on @W8RP to another nearby repeater.

A white elephant exchange redistributed gifts.

Good to see everyone.
