I've always been an alter/repair #Sewer but after wearing a pair of my favourite shirts to destruction I decided to try and draft a pattern from the remains and make s new pair.

No idea whether they'll actually fit but I've enjoyed the process so far and have created my first welt pockets as well as semi hidden zippered key/coin pockets.

A decade ago, Chuck asked some hard questions about a project his hometown of Brainerd, Minnesota, was planning. The city wanted to extend its water and sewer systems to a small airport that sat over a mile outside of town. Officials insisted that the $14 million investment would bring new development.
It didn't. Now, the Trump administration is proposing cuts to the federal subsidy program that keeps the airport running, making the entire project even more pointless. That doesn't mean those subsidies should keep coming, though.

(Feb. 11, 2025) The Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT) advises the traveling public that sewer repair crews are responding to a broken storm inlet on the southwest corner of SE 82nd Avenue and Yamhill Street.

The southbound curbside lane of SE 82nd Avenue at Yamhill Street will be closed while crews make repairs. It will remain closed for at least one week to allow concrete forms to be built and poured.

The traveling public is advised to expect delays while repairs are being made. We ask the public to travel cautiously, observe all lane closures and directions by reader boards and flaggers, and use alternate routes if possible.
