I am very confused by the audiogames.net site right now. It used to be that they would have their monthly bulletin on the front page, along with others. Now, they've moved it. Why on Earth would they do this and where can I find them? I also miss what they used to do before the monthly ones, with the jokes and more regular posts.

I have been on Reddit for awhile now, and I am a member of the Blind subreddit, among several others. There is nothing wrong with it, but it is a support community and often has negative/depressing posts that I cannot relate to, always having been blind. So I created my own subreddit with a far more positive angle, where we could discuss a wider range of things, not just related to blindness, and where we can promote and sell products, and even write dating posts! You cannot do any of that in the regular one, and I have seen decent posts asking genuine questions or offering completely legal and helpful services removed for this reason. For those of us who loved STW, that game was more than just a game. It was a place where I could be myself—genuinely, safely. STW was one-of-a-kind. I don’t know if others can relate exactly, but when I played it, I didn’t feel stressed. And if I was stressed, I could go into the game and cut my character, build things, or just explore. It was a way to breathe. I felt safe.

And Sam, you took that away.

I understand that you were going through something hard, feeling depressed, and maybe overwhelmed. I get it. But did you stop to ask how the game made us feel? Did you even consider that you could’ve just left it up—even broken—as a still, quiet world for us to return to?

You made a choice that impacted more than just you. You took down a place that, for some of us, was a lifeline when our real lives weren’t. That hurts.
