An old timey bomber whistle sound flew overhead.

Neatest thing to hear in real life but there's no practical reason to hear it. Nothing makes that sound anymore.

Anyone have any ideas?

And I assure you I'm 100% sure of what we heard, and it was from an aircraft. We didn't get the chance to see it. Unfortunately we didn't make it outside in time before it had flown passed.

Could it have been a mechanical failure perhaps?
