Hello, everyone! 👋🏻

I haven't posted anything in a long time, so here's some information about me.

In August, I was diagnosed with moderate depression, which I began treating with antidepressants. Within a few months, I gained 5 kg, so I asked for a change of medication (since it wasn't having any positive effects). The second medication doesn't have such a negative effect, but after two months, it hasn't had any positive effects either.

I started learning English, as I don't speak it very well despite having studied it at school for 13 years. I am only able to write these lines thanks to a translator.
I also started learning to programming. I'll see how long I can keep it up, because I'm already starting to feel frustrated.

I am still alone and feel lonely, which makes me feel bad, but I am trying to devote at least a little time to myself.

@nycki I bandied the idea of a #Flarum forum in the past (Flarum is lightweight, *and* looks great on mobile, unlike https://wrongplanet.net/forums/), but there wasn't enough interest. I had no one willing to help with #forum moderation. Server setup - when low-maintenance enough - is something I have talent enough to do, and maintain.

Alas, the #autistic community doesn't have the strength in numbers, and will to escape the #enshittification, eschewing the closed-source, more popular-yet-surveillance-capitalism-style forums like #Discord.

PS: It's a small miracle this #Mastodon instance I'm on is autistic-themed (*and* runs on #OpenSource software, *and* looks great on mobile). Thanks @AutisticInnovator !! :blob_cat_heart:

This is like the flip side of Maye Musk and the #ElonMusk fans who excuse all of Musk's harmful actions by saying that he's "autistic" or otherwise #neurodivergent in some way. When a rich and powerful person is #autistic (or claimed to be autistic) that means they're supposed to get as much social latitude as possible; when a scum-class person such as myself is said to be neurodivergent, that's an excuse for dehumanization and being treated as *disposable*.
