If a cop has somewhere to be but they're not in any hurry to get there, and I'm directly ahead of them and I'm also in the slow lane for the same reason, that's fine. That's not what I have a problem with; what I have a problem with, IS WHEN THEY FOLLOW EXTREMELY CLOSE FOR NO REASON. At that point, it's called tailgating. I hate it when anyone does that; the fact that they happen to be a cop has nothing to do with it. If anyone's wondering, yes, this happened to me, earlier today in fact—and no, they didn't pull me over—and this went on for somewhere between three and five miles by my estimate. If I'd had to make an emergency stop for whatever reason, I would've literally been rear-ended by a cop. It's just ridiculous.

Evri driver responded to my sign by escalating. Didn't even try to deliver this time - stopped down the road, walked up, threw his piss bottle at the front window, yelled and screamed some more, marked the parcels as "can't find the delivery address", and sped off.

I stayed inside and watched on the cameras, which were of course recording... sigh.

Almost got hit by a car on my 6am bike ride in the dark to the swimming pool.. It was an Evo (car sharing) where the windows were mostly frosted over so my lights and reflective jacket apparently didn't register at all. On an official city bike route too (Woodland), but these days that doesn't mean safety, it just means deserted side street with no witnesses 🫣🦺

I am completely on edge. I’ve actually caught myself a couple of times today sitting at my desk working while my hands are balled up in fists, white knuckles and all. Nothing’s going badly at work. All is a-ok. It’s just the rest of the world that has me so tensed up.

On the drive in today there were a bunch of times when I saw someone driving like an asshole (this is Massachusetts after all) and I thought to myself, I bet he voted for that nazi fuck and is driving like that because he knows he can get away with anything (including treason) so long as he wears that stupid fucking red hat. As I said this is Massachusetts so the chances of randomly running into a maga cult asshole are much less than 50/50. Still, I am so mad at the state of things right now that even here in the happy Blue State I am seeing fascists everywhere.

I hate him. I hate what he stands for. I hate those who figuratively suck his dick in exchange for being able to openly express their bigotry and hatred and racism and misogyny and antisemitism and anti-everyone who isn’t a straight white male. Fuck, I hate all of this nazi bullshit.

Breath. Count to 10. Look at the cute kitty*. Deal with it. It’s only been two days, but that’s two days closer to being able to kick these fuckers to the curb.

Didn’t get a photo of white Sunset trailer pulled by pickup on Casa Verde 7/28, but have a vivid image of them in mind. What made them special?

After several trucks towing trailers, and other RVs, passed us on our bicycle—each giving us plenty of room—the Sunset one came inches from hitting us. (Seems the driver forgot the trailer they were pulling was wider than their pickup!) As they passed us, we saw that they were the only one that had bicycles on the back of their vehicle! #FunnyNotFunny
