Esto me parece una mejora frente a todo 143. El mejor modo de dejar atrás una racha mala es justo así: con nuevas actividades, una gira, un sencillo.

La gira ha sentado bien a Perry. Está gustando en las crónicas y dejando regustico dulce en el público, y está rentando, la gente sale de los conciertos olvidando 143, también la era anterior, pero ante todo 143. Lo mejor es que dado su repertorio de macrohits jamás le faltarán posibilidades de girar, esto es, de hacer borrón con todos los flops que pueda tener.

Bandaids no inventa nada, ni siquiera retoma el espíritu pop desacomplejado, deliberadamente cómico y superficial, de los buenos -y pasados- tiempos. Quizá es lo mejor. Díficilmente volverá ese tiempo y ahora el pop se hace de distintos modos.

La canción habla del hoy de la intérprete sin lanzar grandes dardos ni dar explicaciones, algo mucho más soberbio de lo que se está haciendo ahora en el mundo del pop, rentabilizando catarsis íntimas. El tono tiene algo, en este sentido, de Mature de la Duff. Es personal, retomo, no explícita, y suena a su inesperado hit "Never Really", solo que aquí dándonos un poco de ese timbre tan particular.

Cada cuestión está acreditada en el cómico video, lleno de accidentes y desgracias arquetípicas para disfrute de les espectadores. De nuevo... nada nuevo. Da igual porque se nota que es consciente. Con guiños a scarymovies y demás rolas del estilo y también a su hija, esa florecilla salvadora. Lo mejor: el autoguiño final incendiando su propio flopazo, antihit, Woman's World.

Miren, nenas, no da mucho pero lo que ahora entrega alcanza el aprobado, y encima con buena onda y autocrítica. Ni tan mal. Ya quisieran muches mirar así a su pasado menos vistoso. Con esto sí podemos ir olvidando ciertas cosas.

I just spent $500 at #Costco.

Not as bad as it would seem because I only shop at Costco 1 or 2x's a year & buy/store everything in bulk & store/freeze them for later use.

All for food items, except for a large box of #bandaids & a pack of toilet paper, most of which should last for a least 6 months, if not longer, depending on the item.

The list included an 11# slab of NY Strip Loin (Steak), 4.24# ofOxtails, 3.25# of Lamb Chops, 3# of Trout, a #1 round of brie, 13# of mixed nuts, 18# (12 jars) of canned peaches & 4 doz eggs.

Going to vacuum seal & freeze the meat & trout later.

Only 1 splurge/impulse purchase; a 3# container of M&M peanuts which should last me at least a month or 2. 😉

This reduces my trips to the local grocery store mostly to just fresh fruit & veggies.

Almost any home has a box of adhesive #bandages - #BandAids - in it somewhere.

I'm here to advise you not to buy Band-Aids or other name brands. Don't buy any you might see advertised on TV. Don't buy any you find at the grocery store.

Buy brands aimed at medical settings, online. They have boring names, but they're higher quality and stick better, and they're much, much cheaper.

You won't get 7 different shapes in a box, but how useful are those weirdo ones?
