How healthy are Brazil nuts really: The popular seeds, known as “#selenium bombs”, contain also traces of metals like #barium and #radium. Researchers at #HZDR and #VKTA conducted a study on the amounts of these elements that could enter the body during digestion.

Apparently there were some strong feelings among at least a few 19th century gentlemen-chemists as to whether "barium" was really deserving of its heaviest-of-all-metals name.

"Plutonium" was even proposed as an alternative—though, from what I can tell, this effort didn't go anywhere, and "plutonium" (which, honestly, is way cooler than "barium" as names go) remained on the shelf for another century or so.

The name which Priestley bestowed upon Oxygen, was changed first by Condorcet, afterwards by Lavoisier, and now the name of the same substance is again likely to undergo an alteration.

Aan de rand van de demonstratieve samenkomst, afgelopen zondag 31 januari in Apeldoorn, liep ik Erik Groenendijk tegen het lijf. Hij stond opnames te maken en werd door iemand aangesproken. Ik herkende direct zijn stem uit de video’s over chemtrails die hij me de afgelopen jaren toestuurde. Dit was voor het eerst dat we elkaar face-to-face spraken.
