This version of their #tripel is a little bit sweeter than the OG but has nice spiced biscuit flavours as added bonus.

"Oude Relic - Our super Saison Tripel.... The French saison yeast we love with a strong grain bill, creating this unusual strong amber-coloured ale. Great for cellar aging."

Kicking off February aka #TourneeSpontanee with Halcyon by Wilderness Brewing 🇳🇿 My all-time favourite Wilderness brew. 🍻

"...Flemish style red-brown ale, aged in ex pinot barrels. We then transferred the beer into a freshly emptied ex brandy barrel loaded up with local plums. We let this age for a further 18 months..."

This week, #CruxFermentationProject provided me with two of its recent beers: Tough Love Barrel-Aged #ImperialStout and Doublecross Dark Belgian-Style Ale. Tough Love is the 10th anniversary edition of the Banished series stout, aged in Kentucky bourbon barrels.
