Yet another crazy tool working in #Wine on #Linux: The software for the #Beyerdynamic #Quinta conference intercom.

(Chose COM33 from the configuration after setting up the USB connection to the Quinta. Don't forget to add your user to the dialout group and re-login.)

This product series has been discontinued. Perhaps Wine will one fine day even save it from being thrown away because the control software might not work on future #Windows versions anymore.

Although I must say, the Beyerdynamic Quinta wireless conference voodoo deserves to be thrown away, because it is a hassle to get it work together with Wifi in one room.

EDIT2: This doesn't run too stable… not sure if it is a Wine issue or if that entire Quinta thing just sucks.

As a weekend project I have completely rebuilt my pair of #Beyerdynamic T1 #headphones. They still sound excellent but the years of dirt accumulation and wear have taken the toll.

✅ Old pleather headband replaced with a new soft one
✅ Fixed broken slider mechanism
✅ Replaced old grimy ear pads
✅ General cleaning

Now they look and feel better than new!

Aktuell brauche ich ein neues #Gaming #Headset. Die Firma #beyerdynamic produziert einige ihrer Produkte in #Deutschland So auch das MMX 300 Gaming Headset. Hier muss man natürlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen. Allerdings gibt es auch ausgezeichnete BWare.
