Finally got my audio stack in my office into a real rack.
It was all going into a Crown amp and a rack-mount graphic equalizer I found at Goodwill for $10 each like 5 years ago, so it was halfway a studio setup anyway. All that into Cambridge M50 monitors, which have served me well for 20 years.
Added a 12-channel Mackie mixer that actually lets me plug in 4 or 5 synths and mix them, and pull in my Arturia audio interface along with up to 4 mics, one for my Zoom, and 2-3 for guitar and vocal recording as needed. 🎹🎸🔊
Biggest bonus: this heavy equipment is no longer sitting in my basement window-well blocking the window from opening, so now I have a fire exit again! 🔥 Kinda important.
