Unsere Kollegen waren beim #BioHackEU24 in Barcelona.
Danke an @elixir_europe

🎉 #BioHackEU24 has come to an end!

Thnak you all for joining us this year. And a special thanks to those who participated online and overseas for staying up late hacking through different projects with us 🙌.

It has been a great week with lots of fruitful outcomes and we look forward to seeing you next year for #BioHackEU25 in Berlin, Germany!🥳

Wrapping up a fantastic week at the #BioHackEU24 🎉 Project 17 worked (also) on the future integration of the BioImage Archive and BioImage Model Zoo with #useGalaxy, which will enable automatic import of both images and #AI models, streamlining automated #ImageAnalysis workflows.

🙌 Halfway through #BioHackEU24!
This morning, all #BioHackEU24 projects will present their 🎯 project goals and challenges they’ve encountered and seek expertise from participants.

💡 Looking forward to seeing some cross-project collaborations!

✨ The second day of #BiohackEU24 starts with lots of hacking on-site, through Zoom, and across time zones.

We made a word cloud ☁️ to summarise keywords of projects this year.
Guess what’s the most used keyword… #DATA 💾 along with #Research, #FAIR, #Galaxy and #ELIXIR - which really summarise the focuses of hashtag#BioHackEU.

Tomorrow, all #BioHackEU24 projects will present their goals and challenges they’ve encountered and 🙌 seek expertise from participants for #collaborations!

Chocolates are on the table, hacking can commence!

okay, people are heading to Barcelona for #BioHackEU24

I will join online, but a few incoming meetings I had to give priority (think teaching, general assembly), so I won't be available full time, unfortunately

But there is overlap, so as a first mutual benefit, I made a fist update to our course material giving an overview of #SPARQL endpoints in the life sciences: bigcat-um.github.io/PRA3006-SP

On my way to #BiohackEU24. I am going to help people get more out of their #FAIRdata with project 14: FAIRly easy APIs for research data in (Bio)Schema.org and RDF github.com/elixir-europe/bioha

Have you used to markup your data, tools, training materials or other content? Was it cumbersome, tedious or a joyous experience? Please share your experiences and help us to run the @elixir_europe BioHackathon Europe Project 10 ‘Bioschemas for Mortals’ by completing this survey before 1 November.

Screenshot of the opening of the lnked survery "Bioschemas for Mortals pre-event survey", giving a short intro and three types of user question answers, for "end-users", "provider", or "both".

September is over, October has started, and the first teaching block is slowly transforming into the second teaching block.

The coming weeks will also bring a good bit #openscience

First, a @wdscholia hackathon, followed by the Open Science Festival #OSF2024NL (in 9 days!), and then later this month the BioHackathon Europe #BioHackEU24
