Hey, I have a question for people who use spreadsheets a lot and know how to create and use pivot tables and pivot charts. If I have an aging report spreadsheet that I am using as a call list where each row represents one invoice and there are multiple invoices per client ID, what would you say is the easiest way to count how many customers I've contacted in a day if there is a column for "Initial Email Sent" that has the date in it?
Okay, so @ZebKing asked an interesting question yesterday:
Do you think there is anything to the idea that it takes a certain number of followers or "followees" to become a prolific Mastodon poster? In other words, rather than clickbait & algorithms, does one feel more engaged or responsible for updates if they have "contacts" waiting & responding?
My answer is going to be a bit long, possibly meandering, but I promise it will have a point; so here's a thread π§΅

I'm very lucky that I only just noticed this because I was perusing methods to improve my job-search process.
If you have used Coursera in the past and do not want to be bound to mandatory arbitration, they are not letting you have the option to opt out of the clause in the agreement which went into effect on January 1, 2025. Time to download your Accomplishments and delete your account, because binding arbitration is only good for large corporations, not individuals. 1/
Howdy, folks! It's that time again, the time where a service changes its Terms to include binding arbitration and you're allowed to opt out if you inform them in writing that you want to opt out. Today's contestant is Lyft, and you have 30 days from December 13, 2024 if you live in Canada to opt out. Check out Section 17(g) here: https://www.lyft.com/terms/canada/preview#tos-dispute-resolution-and-arbitration-agreement
