@marioguzman And we shouldn't use YouTube (IsraelTube) either, because it abuses consumers. YouTube censors the Israel-Gaza conflict (they deleted my YouTube channel), insists that we buy YouTube Premium, and now you have to verify yourself upload your ID card to upload videos. Alternatives? NewPipe or Invidious are better than YouTube and you don't pay a penny. There's also Odysee for uploading videos. #BoycottYouTube

What is this? Are you kidding me?? Can we #BoycottYouTube right now?
So I tried out #Peertube, and so far, it looks promising. Hopefully it manages to pull, not all, but a good chunk of everyone away from #YouTube and their stupid system in the near future. I'm probably still gonna use YouTube for now, just because there isn't that much good content on Peertube yet, but I do hope that people finally start to #BoycottYouTube and #JoinPeertube or any of the other alternatives.
@randahl @anderspuck This is why I wish someone would make another alternative that immediately everyone, including our favorite YouTubers, can flock to. So that we can finally #BoycottYouTube and not have to deal with shit like this.
And yes, I know we have alternatives like Odysee and DTube and many others, but unfortunately, they don't get much traction as they should.
I really wish there were more alternatives to #YouTube. Yeah we have platforms like Rumble, Odysee, and BitChute, but those seem to be our only options and the sad thing is, not that many people have migrated to them. So unless a ton of people start migrating to one of these platforms, or someone finally makes a new alternative that becomes big, unfortunately I don't know if we'll ever be able to #BoycottYouTube anytime soon. 😞
