We will not know one way or another until #budgetday - which is scheduled for 30th October . In the meantime there seem to have been remarkably few leaks - perhaps because all the #specialadvisers have been put on contracts including a four month probationary period - much more effective than the bluster of previous regimes.
I took part in #BudgetDay #Hīkoi so didn't want to spoil the day by watching Nicola Willis' budget announcement.
However, I just watched Chippy's response and didn't spot any lies.
Ok so we get $22.20 a week and with that savings we're uh...
Spending 30% more on rates because 3waters is gone (so that's the entire tax cut gone already)
Insurance costs are up 20% because climate events
Letting tech monopolies dismantle our last few journalist orgs
