All my life I've been an urbanite, living mostly in cities not prone to natural disasters... I am afraid to say I know nothing much about living without electricity, being too reliant on mod cons. I will definitely read into ham radio, getting a shortwave radio for my emergency #bugout bag.

I just bought gas masks for our bugout bags, in case you were wondering where I think things are headed.
Amazon sells "EMP Shield" 12v surge protectors for vehicles. I wonder if they work, and if so why aren't they installed by the factory? Seems like an option that a lot of people would go for if it were offered.

Pele/Kilauea has begun erupting again, in her home, Halemaumau Crater. Halemaumau is the safest place for an active eruption for all of us and as long as that's where she stays, no one needs a bugout bag for an eruption. I still like to share this every so often bc I don't think some of you think about needing to flee, when in fact, you never really know when you may become an evacuee or refugee of some sort. Stay vigilant and know that wise preparation is not just a means of survival, with preparation, you can thrive.

Couteau très réputé et en très bon état. Je ne m'habitue à sa prise en main.
Acheté 185€ il y a un an, vendu 155€ avec boite et plaquettes d'origines.
Les plaquettes micarta valent 85$ et le traitement de la lame 50€. Le couteau neuf en vaut 140€.
