My tuxedo cat is a grand old dame, 18 years old this new year, which is about 88 in human years.

She's my last rescue, and she's palliative now. We know our time is nearly gone, and every minute is gold.

She only became a true cuddle-bug in the last 3 years. Patience is love!

My job now is to keep her comfy. The best part? Pressing my face into her soft body. She purrs big, and I find my peace right back.

We are soaking up all the quiet love we can in these final days. Sending love if you are sharing this sweet, sad chapter with a pet.
