I think a lot about the last lines of the Chernobyl miniseries from 2019, especially as it relates to today's world of climate collapse, genocides, and deadly/disabling airborne infectious diseases.

Spain, Portugal, Italy and Greece are looking at temperatures above 40°C this week. This are particularly dangerous for the very young, the elderly, those who can't afford air conditioning, and those who work outdoors.
