My son and I saw "Iron Lung" at the theater tonight. Generally I prefer to wait a day or two to digest a movie before reviewing it. But I WILL say that the movie was *unbelievably* confusing.
But the instant the movie ended - before the credits even started - some idiot a few rows ahead of us turned on a flashlight and started shining it all over the place. Including into our eyes, several times.
After the third time my son yelled out "Turn off the damned flashlight!"
The flashlight guy angrily answered "The movie's OVER. I'm looking for my phone."
Son: "You've shined that thing in my eyes THREE TIMES already!"
"Mine too!" I added. "Aim it DOWN!"
Several other people in the audience chimed in at that point. He'd been pretty damned careless with the light. Maybe if there hadn't been so many of us the situation would have turned into a fight, but he chose the better part of valor.
Who brings a flashlight to a theater anyway?
The rest of the audience was nice. We all chatted a little on the way out.
There were no after-credits scenes, by the way.
