Yet, in a #crisis, hope should be a part of your strategy.
Crisis #leaders need to be direct and not sugarcoat critical situations. But hope is important.
You want to "Inspire your team with aligned interests" (Rule 5)? Include hope.
Build back better? Include hope.
Strengthen community (or organizational) bonds? Include hope.

I would extend this discussion to include not just #adaptability, but also adaptive #leadership. Adaptive leadership requires a value-laden foundation and honed meaning making skills. Adaptive leaders help their teams "psychologically and emotional align themselves" (Beerel, 2021, p. 219) with changing situations.
