W systemach iOS 18 i macOS 15 aplikacja Apple Music ma zyskać inteligentniejsze przejścia między utworami, donosi AppleInsider.
Apple podobno testuje nową funkcję o nazwie „inteligentne przejścia utworów”, która byłaby ulepszeniem obecnej opcji crossfade, która pojawia się podczas przechodzenia z jednego utworu do drugiego.
Dzięki inteligentnym przejściom utworów użytkownicy Apple Music będą mogli dostosować czas trwania przejścia od 1 do 12 sekund. W obecnej formie crossfade wypełnia lukę między utworami, zmniejszając głośność utworu, który się kończy, jednocześnie zwiększając głośność nowego utworu, tworząc udane przejście bez kończenia muzyki.
AppleInsider twierdzi, że Apple pracuje również nad nową funkcją o nazwie „Passthrough” dla Apple Music i QuickTime Player, ale nie ma informacji o tym, czym jest ta funkcja. Strona sugeruje, że jest to związane z dźwiękiem przestrzennym z Dolby Atmos.
Mówi się również, że Apple pracuje wewnętrznie nad funkcją „Spatial Gaming”, ale nie ma również żadnych szczegółów na temat tego, co to może być.

The new updates to #iOS17 introduce a #Crossfade setting to #AppleMusic, but I really wish it had a toggle for “Disable for Albums”
Cross-faded tracks is great when shuffling your library or listening through playlists, but when you’re playing an individual album the artists often ensure tracks run back to back in a neat our creative way. No cross fade necessary.
YES! How did I miss this?! #iOS17 finally brings #crossfade to Apple Music on the iPhone. It’s been available in iTunes and on Android for years.
Also “collaborative playlists” which sounds a bit like the old “iTunes DJ” where people could request and vote for songs to be played.

Good morning all. Here’s a question for all you #iOS17Beta testers.
Is your #Crossfade working ok in #AppleMusic or is it buggy ……or am I using wrong.
I have set to 6 seconds , however regardless of the amount set from 1-12 the track stops & I have the pause until next song starts.
Does this work for music already in your library , or is it just if you’re playing/streaming from Apple Music.
Or am I holding it wrong ?
