I'm currently replaying Shining Force on the Sega Genesis, interspersed with Balatro and Slay the Spire runs.

I'm watching Twin Peaks: the Return and gearing up finishing the entire series for the first time (made it to Part 8 a few years ago before my showtime trial ran out), and watching Westworld for the first time ever.

I'm slowly reading through a stack of comics including the new Absolute DC line, the Sacrificers, and Ice Cream Man, hoping to get back to my book stack which features "the Dispossessed" and "the Dogs" very soon.

I'm slowly creating a poker card based PvP fantasy brawler, while reworking my favorite CCG of all time #OverPower, for a new audience and featuring my own characters. I also am working on the story for those characters, and more music reviews for the online hardcore punk fanzine the Counterforce.

Finally, I'm literally listening to Gorillaz - 19-2000 (Soulchild Remix) as I type this, but I was blasting the Faith/Void Split LP, 7 Seconds - Skins, Brains, & Guts EP, and the new Plastika - Sijamski Blizanac LP!

I'm revisiting Mass Effect I (Legendary edition) even though I completed the game many times on my old Xbox, mostly because I wanted to see the remastering and creating a save game for the following episodes, which I never played.
Aside from ME I'm playing Mad Max, a great open world game which definitely screams the same vibes I loved in the movies series.

I'm re-watching Black Sails, because I needed more pirates in my life. I'm also watching the last season from You with my wife, but I'm not going to spoiler anything!

I'm reading Caliban's War from James S.A. Corey from The Expanse universe, in Italian this time around. I think I'll embark in a huge journey in the near future and start reading the entire Dragonlance saga too from Weis and Hickman

#CurrentlyPlaying Alan Wake 2. Knocked a chair in front of a doorway and I couldn't get through. Alan just runs into it over and over again. Shot the chair with a shotgun, got through.

Video games where there's no jump kind of remind me of DOGE. You keep trying to get them to see that all they have to do is just... move the chair, and then they can get through the door.

But instead, they just run into it over and over again until they shoot it with a shotgun.

A moment after this, the captain tells his crew to throw the player's characters (Robin & Mina) back overboard.
The dialogue is sometimes odd, a non-gentle introduction to a world that leaves me asking lots of questions. Perhaps this effect is heightened by translation, or perhaps it's 100% intentional.

I do have lots of trouble with hand coordination to achieve things in this game. I've got marginally better since getting stuck the first time, but we'll soon see whether I've got better enough ... I'm stuck around the same spot I gave up last time

P.S. Forgive me friends, I am flailing about trying to see how I want to Mastodon. It's one of the few acceptable services left, but I've never decided quite what to do with it not how to present myself

Now I'm playing The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds on 3DS. It's one of the games I can play with the 3d slider cracked up to the maximum. There's only a handful games that I could play like this without needing to dial back to he 3d effect because it starred to hurt my eyes 👁️, there's Mario Kart 7, Super Mario 3D land.
