🗨️ 👩🏽‍💻 Evil , of course - and that's why the noble world now needs to give free rein to the real threat from lower orbit - that's what I call a clear political classification, and not a finding from that would actually offer the global population from real catastrophes in crisis, right?

Progress update from today. I’m working on the early flow for local backups on Android. Still rough, but exciting to see the idea take shape. If you use Android, what’s one backup frustration you have?

Simple privacy tip I learned today. Disabling unused app permissions blocks apps from collecting data they don’t need. Easy change, big impact.

Is digital privacy becoming more important to you over time, or less? Let me know your thoughts.

A lot of people say “I have nothing to hide,” but privacy isn’t just about hiding anything.

When we back up photos, messages, or contacts, we’re also holding data about the people we care about. Their privacy is connected to ours.

Privacy isn’t a solo act but a community effort.

Honest question: Do you think most people care about privacy before something goes wrong, or only after? Curious how others see it.

I learned that turning off automatic cloud backups helps reduce the risk of unnecessary data copies stored on third-party servers. Still early in my privacy journey, but each step feels like taking back a little more control.

Small insight from this week. Digital privacy isn’t about fear but more about ownership and control.

I’m building 121Drop to help make that simpler. If you want to follow along, here’s where I’m collecting early interest: 🔗 is.gd/W9NUK9

I’m not a privacy expert. I’m just someone building a tool that helps me feel safe about my data. I’m always learning something new about local backups and digital ownership. Want to learn with me?

I always hear a lot about VPNs and secure messaging but what about backups? Shouldn’t protecting our data offline be part of privacy 101?

☝️LinkedIn is giving users until today to opt out of AI training — your profile shouldn’t become training data by default. Act now, protect your digital identity. 🧑‍💼⚙️ #DataControl #AIPrivacy

We lock our homes and don’t give our keys to strangers. Why do we give our data to someone else to control? I’m learning that protecting data is the digital version of locking your door and securing the keys. What simple steps do you take for digital peace of mind?

Privacy shouldn’t feel complicated. A simple backup to your own hard drive can protect your memories without sharing them with anyone. Take small steps to be more in control.

When’s the last time you backed up your phone locally (not to Google or iCloud)? I’m trying to understand what holds people back. Is it time, tools, or convenience?

I’ve been thinking about how much of our digital lives we hand over to cloud companies. I started 121Drop because I want to feel more in control of my own data. How do you back up your photos or files today?
