DebConf25

The last two weeks I attended DebConf and DebCamp in Brest, France.

Usually, I like to do a more detailed write-up of DebConf, but I was already quite burnt out when I got here, so I’ll circle back to a few things that were important to me in later posts.

In the meantime, thanks to everyone who made this DebConf possible, whether you volunteered for one task or were part of the organisation team. Also a special thanks to the wonderful sponsors who made this entire event possible!

Le canal IRC #debconf est assez actif, il y a aussi un groupe Signal avec du trafic, mais en fait (et c'est tout l'intérêt du #DebCamp !) les discussions ont surtout lieu sur place pendant les pauses, les repas et dans les HackLabs.

Et sinon ça se passe aussi beaucoup sur les canaux habituels des différents projets et groupes.

@codegouvfr alors attention, la semaine prochaine ce sera le #DebCamp qui précède la #DebConf proprement dite, laquelle aura lieu du lundi 14 au samedi 19 juillet inclus, soit dans 11 jours.

Bien que l'événement soit en principe ouvert à toutes des contraintes réglementaires et de sécurité (vigipirate) ont imposé cette année une inscription préalable, et la date de clôture est maintenant passée : il n'est plus possible de venir sur place si l'on est pas déjà inscrit.

Week 25, 26 and 27 progress on #kotlin 2 packaging for #debian: no progress as I was kept busy with other life demands and priorities, and I'm on holiday this week. Hopefully resuming work next week at #DebCamp.

DebConf25 – Reuniunea globală a comunității Debian se apropie

Brest, Franța – 26 iunie 2025 – Cu câteva săptămâni înainte de startul oficial, DebConf25 – conferința anuală dedicată dezvoltatorilor și utilizatorilor Debian – și-a deschis înscrierile și apelul pentru prezentări. Evenimentul va avea loc în perioada 14–19 iulie 2025 la campusul IMT Atlantique din Brest, iar etapa de DebCamp, destinată colaborărilor tehnice intensive, va preceda conferința în perioada 7–13 iulie.
