Had to write an error protocol at work.
Had to download it via #edge.
Wanted to write in the pdf on the computer instead of printing it and describing the error with the font of my hand that nobody can read.
Edge opens the pdf and allows to write directly onto the pdf...

It did cut off every text in every text field I wrote by two full words, so that I had to add "blah blah" at the end to every text field for it all but the "blah blah"to appear.

I wanted to write "X" into text fields above boxes that require you to tick them if the thing next to them applies...

Edge didn't let me, no matter what.
It placed the X anywhere but close to the small box. The X either appeared above or below our fully vanished.

No setting to turn off or adjust. No way to get what I wanted to write, where I wanted it... Next time I'm writing it by hand.

Me: Most of you in the Fediverse seem to be Linux/FOSS users, so I'd imagine it's kind of pointless to ask for opinions here. But I'm not on any 'mainstream' social media sites. And I do wonder what folks on those sites think about Microsoft and what they've done with their flagship apps and OS.

I switched from Bing to DuckDuckGo when Bing added non-configurable notification icons to their home page. Bing search always did what I needed, and I didn't actually want to change a tool I used many times each day, but this was enough to drive me away forever.
If you're building a product that's used by neurodiverse users (and you are, even if you don't acknowledge it) it's important to provide an uncluttered non-noisy UX - or at least the option to configure one.
In related news, today I am a happy Edge user and haven't used any other browser since Microsoft started building Edge on Chromium.
