For #ThrowBackThursday from the 1970s, my aunt Sarah's wedding day. She's next to Mick, a blind relative who nevertheless knew how to dress himself which can't necessarily be said of my other aunts Irene (left) and Lily (right) here. Fashion, eh?

A scan of a square, colour photo, taken in the early 1970s. It's in a hall, possibly one belonging to a school, with wooden flooring and windows high up on the walls in the background, framed by dark green curtains. To the right there are tables pushed together in rows with tablecloths overs them and place settings for food and drink, along with small, padded chairs. To the left of the view, and the main focus, there are four people. A woman stands in her bridal dress with veil pulled back from her smiling face. An older man in dark suit and tie and with a flower in his buttonhole is to the right of her. Either side of them are two other women, both dark-haired, both wearing odd choices of clothing. The woman on the left has a short-sleeved dress to her thighs in a burgundy-brown colour with red and white chequerboard patterns on the sleeve tips, collar, and pocket tops. The woman on the right is wearing a floor-length pale yellow dress with abstract mosaic flower designs on it. Because it has thin shoulder straps she's wearing this over a pale blue blouse and is carrying a compact camera in her hand.
