I've been photographing my house with a borrowed #FLIR camera, trying to look for unexpected hot bits (as seen from the outside) or cold bits (as seen from the inside) which might indicate insulation problems.

Unfortunately I don't really know what I'm doing with the device so I'm not sure how useful it's been. It's pretty awesome though!

Also the house is boiling because I've rammed up the heating all day to give a better thermal difference between the cold and hot bits.

Now, start cooking the grains. The instructions say to bring water to 160F and then mix grains, then cook for an hour between 144F (63C) and 152F (68C). This pot is way too big lol. Using the FLIR. #flir #beer #alcohol

Ich habe hier eine #Flir One Wärmebild Kamera für ein #iPhone 5/s. Der Zufall will es, und genau so eines liegt noch seit Jahren im Schrank (#iOS 9.0.1).

Für Android gibt es APK Mirror und Co. Gibt’s ein Appstore-iOS-Pendant? Oder wie bekomme ich eine alte, kompatible Version auf das alte Telefon?

Kann doch nicht sein, dass ich eine vermutlich technisch einwandfreie Wärmebildkamera wegen Softwaregedöns entsorgen darf?

Ran the FLIR through the house again, since it's 90F outside, no change in where the thermal issues are (all now original insulation install issues, where insulation is not straight at corners or has shifted over time, plus the roof peaks where heat accumulates in the attic). #flir #heatwaves #insulation

Mmmmm garage sale cotton sheet and a brick stew, my favorite. Way overshot target temp of 110F, turned off the burner and will just let it sit. Only needs to go for an hour per the random websites, and only 10 min per the manufacturer of the soap. Synthrapol plus soda ash. #stew #dyeing #flir
