用上了Fluent Reader看RSS feed感觉很不错,我主要订阅带图的内容所以这个排版很适合。https://github.com/yang991178/fluent-reader
发现Pixelfed作品集自带的RSS链接识别出来并没有缩略图…好鸡肋

@manton +1 for this feature. I am using #FluentReader for now. Micro.blog would do a much better job on my timeline.
I reviewed Fluent Reader, a local #RSS client for Windows, macOS, and Linux.

I recently switched #RSSReaders from #TheOldReader to #Inoreader because I wanted more features. Their website isn't the greatest place to read feeds as far as #accessibility goes(I switched to their beta and am giving them some recommendations though, so hopefully that will change), so I'm looking for a good #Windows #app that will sync with Inoreader. I use #FieryFeeds on #iOS but I'm on my computer a lot, so I'd love a Windows app. Can anyone recommend one? I've tried several but they either didn't sync with it or accessibility was bad. Some of the ones I've tried are #FluentReader, #RavenReader, #QuiteRSS, #FeedDemon, #RSSGuard, #RSSOwlnix, and #MyReader. The last one is the only one that seemed to work with Inoreader but accessibility is pretty poor. If any others I mentioned work for you, how did you set it up? If you're using something else, what is it?

TIL about the #Linux and #Android app #FluentReader which looks like a smoother alternative to #NextCloud News in the browser.
Here's how to set it up with your NextCloud server: https://sudoscience.blog/2023/07/06/setting-up-fluent-reader-with-nextcloud-news/
It's yet another #Electron application (read: resource hogger 🙄), but I'll give it a chance anyway.
It may have been a while since I last opened my RSS feed aggregator 👀
Narrator: "He proceeded to blow the dust off its cover and smack it a couple of times to remove the remaining particulates... It was a terrible strategy, much coughing ensued."
I probably shouldn't let it collect more cobwebs 🕸️
@oligneisti I'm a huge rss fan - it is my main channel of gathering information & analysis. The first application I launch on booting my laptop in the morning is #FluentReader. https://github.com/yang991178/fluent-reader
I have many hundreds of subscriptions. Like Mastodon it requires the user to be the algorithm, sorting their chonological feeds into meaningful, manipulatable categories. Also, it often just bypasses many paywalls or x-number of 'free articles this month'.

Pensando en deixar #Feedly* (polo da ferramenta anti-greves) e passar-me a Fluent Reader...

i've recently discovered this rss reader for #linux called #FluentReader https://hyliu.me/fluent-reader/, and i'm very satisfied. it's pretty much a Reeder clone, but open-source, multiplatform (Linux, MacOs and Windows) and free...well, free for every platform except win10 for some reason. Github https://github.com/yang991178/fluent-reader
i didn't try it, but it's also available for IOS and Android, but not free, although very cheap https://github.com/yang991178/fluent-reader-lite
Cross-Platform Open-Source Fluent Reader is my current best choice for an offline RSS news aggregator
Screenshot of Fluent Redaer RSS reader application showing RSS feeds I’ve happily been using self-hosted web-based FreshRSS for a while now. I chose it mainly because it suited my needs, and when I travelled regularly, I could work from the same shared source of articles. […]
@eloquence I use #FluentReader ( https://github.com/yang991178/fluent-reader )
It's a desktop app available in Linux (AppImage), macOS, and Windows.
What I like most about it is the UI/UX.
