At the top, a mouse plays a big two-headed drum, flanked by figures blowing trumpets. Along the sides, amidst decorative swirls, are a number of figures, including what appears to be a pirate, a bishop, a student, a couple of winged devils (or angels?), and others.

A line drawing or engraving showing the spines of a row of books on a shelf. The books are all different sizes and thicknesses and several of them seem to be flying off the shelf. The artist signed the image with a small monogram in the lower left corner,  which is hard to read, but I believe is a large capital G surrounding Dewey. 'G Dewey'?
