The last few days were pretty eventful. Our new year's eve party started with a fire alarm at 7:30 am, caused by a burning backup battery. But don't worry, apart from smelling of smoke, all foxes are unharmed.
Let's still hope that 2026 will be a bit more relaxed than the last day of 2025.
The #FoxCalendar goes into its tenth year overall and its fourth year here on the fediverse. To celebrate, the title page contains a collage of previous title pages.

Like the previous picture, this one was shot at the nearby comic con. Sadly, I forgot to ask for the cosplayers' names so I can't credit them directly. They were really awesome and happy to contribute to the calendar!

Wait, what, the month is already half over? We were so busy organizing a meetup with our friends and then with our trip to #meraluna #festival that I totally forgot to post the current calendar photo.

This photo might not look like much but it has a lot of emotional value for us. The foxes and I live in a big city with very little greenery. So every year in April we rent a small cottage out in the woods and enjoy the sounds and smells of nature.

Taking photos can be hard work and sometimes the foxes just need to take a rest on the equipment.

While the foxes are used to getting photographed, they have trouble holding still for long enough to get drawn.

Snow is getting rare these days so instead of building snowmen, the foxes spend the cold winter days sitting at the living room window looking at the trains. Did I ever mention we are all huge #train nerds here?
Dear friends of the #FoxCalendar, once again I'm a bit late in creating the new thread. The holidays have been busy and there have been some sad news that the foxes had to help me deal with.

Sometimes, when the present becomes overwhelming, we long for the nostalgia-clouded memories of our childhood. For me, that's a mysterious land called "the 90s" and I guess the foxes wanted to see what it was like back then.

Around the fox den, fall is in full swing and that's the perfect occasion to hole up with a cup of tea or hot chocolate and a tasty snack. Our favorite treat is homemade Bohemian cheesecake and even though plushy paws aren't the best tools, the foxes managed to make one.
