We're lucky to have a breeding colony of fulmars at our local cliffs in Rottingdean. These wonderful sea birds are petrels and related to the albatross. They resemble gulls, but have stiff wings and tube-noses. They also cackle rather than squawk! Im März haben wir auf den Färöern nicht so viele Tiere gesehen, außer Schafe natürlich. Der Eissturmvogel ist ein Hochseevogel der zur Brutzeit an Land kommt und eine Kolonie haben wir zufällig bei einer kleinen Wanderung entdeckt.
