Since writing this, I'm even more convinced of the second of these priorities.
I see very little serious attempt by progressive political parties to provide decent political education for the public.
Example: both UK Labour and USA democrat campaigns missed the opportunity to explain why so many migrate. Instead they adopted bits of the far right agenda.
Could do much better.
