Yes, there's a small covered stage, but there are very large thunderstorms in the forecast, and there's no way the stage will be adequate cover in a downpour. This is a more modern one. This is from when I returned to gigging after about 10 years, in 2018.
I don't really know why I stopped at the time. I just didn't. I kept playing and writing though.
This was my return, playing a lovely little venue in Galway called De Burgos.
It's basically an underground cellar. It has lovely atmosphere. I love it.

I think this was Galway Fringe 2018?

Another throwback.
This guitar was an Ovation Tangent TK-57. It's still knocking around.

I opened for a friends band and another band headlining.
They were another metal band, "Twilight of Harmony". They were succeeded by 2 better bands.

This was probably 2006/2007. You can tell from my clothes, which, I can assure you was the height of fashion at the time. Don't look it up. Take my word for it.

This was my first gig about 17/18 years ago.

I played support for a band that I went on to be the frontman of. That guitar is still played, with a few more scrapes.
It was a burgeoning, flourishing music scene. A ready-made community.

That's when I first heard the feedback "I like your songs. I'd love to hear them with a full band". Yet to be done, but still could be.

I’ve not been doing pub covers gigs much because whilst the money is good they can be quite draining. However I played a city centre pub last night and had an ace time.
