The next 4 years will be rough for non-believers. In LA County there are a few UU locations, but two other groups I highly recommend is Atheists United and Sunday Assembly LA. They each have a bit of a different vibe which could be good for those who have religious trauma in their personal history. One of these groups may fit your vibe better than the others.
