Argumento y comentario
La película narra la investigación periodística de Bob Woodward y Carl Bernstein, dos jóvenes reporteros del The Washington Post, que destapan el escándalo Watergate tras un allanamiento en la sede del Partido Demócrata en 1972. Lo que parecía un simple robo se convierte en una compleja trama de espionaje y corrupción que involucra a la administración del presidente Richard Nixon. La investigación de los periodistas, a pesar de la censura y los intentos de encubrimiento, termina provocando la dimisión de Nixon, marcando un hito en la historia política y periodística de Estados Unidos.
