#HoangThiMinhHong and others have been detained for protecting our #planet.

Hong, from #Vietnam, was arrested in what the US State Department is calling "part of a concerning pattern of arrests of local environmental and civil society advocates."

#Hong has been detained without charge and has been denied access to a lawyer. She faces up to seven years behind bars for a spurious charge of tax evasion.
