Apple iPod illustration for the Dutch Webwereld magazine (2006).
Used the Maxwell renderer in 3ds Max to light and render this.

I have a huge folder of music files extracted off an old #Ipod years ago - they're "hidden files" so Apple scrambled their names and order into a series of seemingly random folder and file names, but the metadata is still there.
Does anyone have a recommendation for the best way to automatically organize these files back into a more easily usable form (by artist name, album title, song title, etc.)? I've read of a few programs that might do this but I'm curious if anyone who is #tech saavy might have any particular endorsements.
Might look at selling the rest of it for parts, and use the money from it to finish the mod on the 5th gen Classic I've got.
Anyone out there in need of a mint condition screen, motherboard, and battery for a 2nd gen #iPod Mini?
I've got the housing and all the trim too, but the condition of that stuff is...not... mint. "Loved", perhaps.
Je suis desole; the ribbon cable on my iPod Mini has split!
There's one on ebay, but the guy reckons it's worth £95 plus £35 delivery (from Germany).
So I guess I no longer have an iPod Mini.
Anyone else out there listen to Saint Etienne? Their music is just a wonderful vibe.
Delighted to announce that it's possible to sync an iPod in Linux using iTunes running through WinBoat.
Not a niche requirement at all. Very normal. Very cool.

My iPod is better than my phone: repair, new SSD, and managing songs with Linux
A new iPod has entered my life, and I’m excited to start using it with Rhythmbox. But first, I need to clean it up and install this awesome DosLab solid state drive and new Atomic Purple front panel.

@BasicAppleGuy Only audio system I’ll ever need playing my Tristano playlist. iPod Nano 7s, Bluetooth adapter, + Anker earbuds. Almost surprisingly Apple iTunes store still sells permanently-owned music that’s compatible with iPods. I do streaming as well but I love the compact size of these and the straightforward UI.
Batteries on these little lovelies can be a bit touchy. The previous owner of the green one said he replaced the battery. I charge the silver one very carefully.
Updates: WatchPods 0123
What is this thing, really?
Found my old iPod classic with all my music still on there. Loads of it.
Just gotta get it working with my linux install.
First step to getting my music listening out of big tech.
Reflexioné un poco en el blog, en un momento de lucidez, sobre el iPod.

iFlash Quad in hand and it didn’t even take 20 minutes to swap the #iPod Classic battery, microSD board and backplate. Still have a new click wheel and faceplate but happy to see this working. Now to restore the iPod!
