Been looking for a new browser for ages I stumbled across Vivaldi (ok, it was recommended by Gemini) and I really like it. In my opinion, the secret to good software is that I shouldn't have to read a book or watch a video to figure out how to use it.

I’ve been in a bit of an "out with the old, in with the new" mood this year. I finally dumped Adobe. They just pressed too many of my buttons. The final straw was the price hike on Photoshop I’ve used it since V4. I dread to think how much money I gave that company over the decades. I replaced it with the new Affinity (by Canva). I used the old Affinity on and off, but this version is just so easy to use and actually fun.

This afternoon I am going to reinstall all my local AI tools onto my new PC I just built. No doubt this will cause hours of headaches as I seem doomed to always have code errors (I then have to battle my AI advisors to help me fix them). I am not a coder; I had a Commodore 64 growing up and that put me off code for life!

Don't worry I’m not here to debate the pros and cons of AI. I use it and love it, but I appreciate many people on here will absolutely hate it.

Anyway, that’s my rambling first post, I’ve never been the person to just say "Hi" hence why most of my friends are robots 😂

I install a 10" IPS panel in one of my projects. But since it is a device in a retro look, I would like to re-enact the curvature of a CRT with an acrylic glass.
