Aufgrund der angerichteten Schäden nahm man sogar an, dass es sich um eine iranische Gruppierung anstelle einer Einzelperson handeln würde. Seit 2021 wurden u.a. General Electric, #Europol, Apple, AMD und Cisco angegriffen.
Nun wurde er wegen einer Bitcoin-Transaktion im Wert von 250 USD gefasst, als er einen gestohlenen API-Key an das #FBI verkaufen wollte:

It seems Kai West, aka "IntelBroker's" LinkedIn account as Kyle Northern has an interesting work experience history -- including a claims that he was a security researcher trainee at the NCA from September - October 2019.
I've emailed the NCA to ask if they can confirm that.
He also claims to have been working since April 2019 for "Baraccuda Limited" as an information security analyst.
The rest of his LinkedIn account lists a number of certifications and degrees.

"IntelBroker's" real identity is Kai West, a British national, according to court filings now revealed by the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Southern District of New York today.
U.S. is seeking his extradition from France, where he was arrested on February 5 and detained.
