Не работает #звук в #Anrdour, тупо не работает: пиковые метры показывают #уровень звука, но #мастер-шины создать никак не возможно ни в #ALSA, ни в #JACK
При переключении на #PulseAudio вообще вылетает
#Психанул. Удалил всю виртуалку с Минтом, скачал и поставил #Fedora #Jam с #KDE (давно хотел KDE #потыкать, больно уж он на Windows смахивает)
#Поставил Ardour, запустил. #Снова ALSA и JACK не работают, а вот на PULSEAUDIO вдруг звук #пошёл - и нормально, так, пошёл - я 10 аналоговых синтов в #проект добавил, они звучат все вместе - и ничего не #трещит!!! #Правда, и количество семплов пришлось задрать под #2048 - ну, и пусть, зато ж #звучит же!!
Почти #доделал #новый проект - может, потом выгружу к вам, куда-нибудь...

Awfully cute! Ours are just starting to get over the worst of their skittishness. When I was shovelling snow yesterday, one of them came running down the street and sat about 20ft away from me while trying to decide if he could make it to the bowl without getting closer to me.

I wonder if Edmonton jacks are related to Regina jacks, and if so, whether ours are considered the hillbilly redneck cousins no one talks about.

has announced a one-year pause in production at its flagship facility in Clermont, Ky.,
a stunning move that underlines the immense challenges facing the American whiskey industry after more than two decades of rapid growth.

The decision by the brand, owned by the Japanese conglomerate 🔸Suntory Holdings,
is the latest in a series of production cuts, layoffs and financial crises across the wine, beer and spirits sector,

The situation will likely get worse as 2025 draws to a close:

reported a 19 percent drop in sales for the third quarter.

Plugged my #MustangMicroPlus into my #Linux PC running #FenderStudio with #JACK audio connection kit. When I click to select input for a track, I'm presented with a list shown in the attached photo. Many of the latter devices just cause a feedback loop. How do I find out more information on what these device "names" mean? Really I would just be expecting the list to have just included one mono and one stereo, _maybe_ options for mono left and mono right.

Been tinkering around with #JACK on #Slackware, trying to get audio to go out through HDMI. Unfortunately, even with the correct audio output device selected in QjackCtl, it just won't output the sound correctly over the HDMI interface. Works with ALSA, but not under JACK. :flan_shrug:​

Right now, I'm figuring out #JACK and learning it from the docs. Next, I'll figure out #PipeWire, and finally #WASAPI. Then, I want to build an #audio I/O library from scratch abstracting over these host APIs. Since I haven't worked with them before, I want to get a feel for how to use them and such, so I want to get familiar with them first.
