The attempt to proscribe PA is yet another move in
the state’s “lawfare” against any opposition to its
politics and policies. It is inseparable from the
numerous pieces of legislation passed to control the
trade union movement, the right to protest, freedom
of expression, the right to pursue civil disobedience,
and legislation aimed at controlling immigration to
fuel nationalist sentiment.

As fellow worker Noam Chomsky points out, “the
term terrorism is used by the great powers simply to
refer to forms of violence of which they disapprove”.
The state has no problem practising violence against
us and the working class in other countries. From
brutalising those taking mass action blockading arms
factories, to facilitating the extermination of the
Palestinian people, it is the state which is the largest
terrorist organisation.

History has shown us that appealing to the state, no
matter the party in power, will never result in our
liberation. Long live Palestine Action, long live the
workers’ struggle, and long live the Palestinian
revolution.
