#OnThisDay in 1947 Edwin Land, an American scientist and inventor, demonstrated the first "instant camera", the Polaroid Land Camera, to a meeting of the Optical Society of America.
It was first sold to the public in November 1948.

Curiosity Show shows the #LandCamera in ‘74 printing the photograph just taken. Mid 80s I picked up a Sun 670. Took lots of IF photos. The film sells up to 2000 then disappears. 2012 the film is revived (#Impossible) and the instant film technology is being improved.

The first shot (failed) of the last 3 shots of fp100c in this camera that I put in storage in Amman after last using it in 2016.
Maybe one of the last 2 will work, the pod wasn’t totally dry. I miss shooting peel-apart.
