There are moments when gratitude rises up in me like a tide, and I realize that whatever else may be fractured in our public life, I have been given the quiet miracle of a community - a circle of ordinary people who show up, who carry one another’s burdens.
As of this week, we have been living in #ldnont for ten years.
The passage of time is strange: it feels like we just moved here and yet it also feels like we’ve been here forever. In some moments, I feel like I’m still a displaced resident of Toronto, and in many others, I feel like settled here, like this is where I’m supposed to be.

It's almost as if nobody thought through this plan... Much like the switch on recycling collection no longer available for non-residential properties like non-profits and places of worship.
