It's lenten rose season and you know what that means.... time to float them in the bird bath. It's like having rubies and diamonds and pearls floating in your own little ocean.

Lenten roses start blooming this month and continue through April depending on the variety. Here's my absolute favorite series: Helleborus x hybridus Frostkissā„¢ because of the stunning leather-like foliage which lasts all winter long. The blooms arrive in March with the spring bulbs. Hellebores are deer proof, evergreen, and tolerate LOTS of shade. @plants
