I keep seeing things about money being poured into "AI", companies making profits from supplying to or buying from warmongering countries, people being fleeced by their employers, people begging for mutual aid because they can't afford new clothes for the winter/food for today/etc and I can't help thinking that there's a single ideology at play:

Line Go Up.

That's it. Even religious wars are about money, and the power that goes with it.
