Can anyone point me in the right direction or explain the meaning/explanation- really behind themes and their naming scheme GTK2 GTK3 is Qt another one? #Linux #LinuxBeginners I especially want to know why it’s preferred to use certain apps that are built around these themes only in certain distros. I’m drawing a blank. Excuse my ignorance.

I remember at one point using #linux I was afraid to ask for help, if I had an issue I had to fend for myself. This really prevented me from wanting to keep using Linux I perhaps wasn't looking in the right places, but I seem to be moving into the right direction #LinuxBeginners there's still so much that I don't understand and that's something I don't want other people to feel. I'm dedicating my time into making others feel welcome and understanding of what it is their doing/using.

There's a issue I constantly run into when using #linux and thats managing disks. Making sure my additional HDDs gets mounted on boot and stays that way. Using debian can anyone assist? I have multiple HDDs #LinuxBeginners
