Den eigenen Eltern verzeihen, vielleicht dafür, dass sie einen nicht zu der Maschine erzogen haben, die man sein müsste, um heutzutage erfolgreich™ einen guten bezahlten Job aushalten zu können.

Den Ex-PartnerInnen, zumindest denjenigen, die im fliegenden Wechsel mit anderen weitergaloppiert sind.

Vielleicht sogar einem früheren Chef, der nie mit einem klarkam. Dem Kampf-(Linken|Veganer|Emacs-User|Jazzer|Nerd irgendwelcher Art), dem man mit der eigenen Realität zu sehr auf die große Füße gestiegen ist…

… oder diesem Typen, der die Kick Drum sehr ungünstig mikrofoniert und außerdem zu laut ausgesteuert hat. Wegen dem man nun in 8 Musikstücken jeden einzelnen Schlag überprüft, ob das Sample auch triggert.

So I used #Harrison #TripleDelay in #Mixbus10Pro and had it sync to host tempo.

The project is a typical one for me, it's an entire concert recording. It is loooong. And it turnes out when Mixbus hasn't seen a tempo marker for a while it goes mad, running at 100% CPU load, which if course is sabotage to clean audio processing. (It doesn't happen when there is no tempo marker at all, though, only the initial tempo of the project.)

#Mixbus 11 is out now and for sale at US$ 149.99, so if you don't have Mixbus Pro already, go for it!

Me & myself, I'll probably wait for another year or so and drop in some more tempo markers.

I am missing a subwoofer. But still… if I had one in my small studio room, the wavelength of almost 7 meters for 50Hz wouldn't fit between these walls.

Turns out however, other people delivering audio to me have this issue, too. 😜 (Otherwise the person would probably have removed the rather useless 50Hz tone here.)

It's not that I wouldn't own subwoofers, but these 4 units of almost-vintage ElectroVoice 15" 800 Watts can't do their thing even in my large storage room… yet when set them up in mid-sized venues, they always feel like the inspiration for this song… “I came in like a wrecking ball“
