From the #CanadaTrip - we saw plenty of these Eastern Chipmunk during the holiday. This one had a burrow entrance right on a path at Long Point Bird Observatory and would happily scurry around anyone in its way.

Day 8 of the #CanadaTrip and the #birding continues on a high. The day was spent at Long Point Bird Observatory and Long Point Provincial Park (old). Amongst the highlights today a Wilson's Warbler!

Day 6 of the #CanadaTrip Our first visit to the Long Point Bird Observatory. The unusual-birds-to-us continued to impress and it was a real pleasure to see new species. We spent most of the day at LPBO but also visited the new Long Point Provincial Park - Plot 419's trees were dripping with birds!

Took this photo at Long Point Provincial Park by Lake Erie in the winter of 2007 when the lake was frozen and covered in snow. It's still one of my most favourite winterscape photos.
