Photographie en couleur du coucher du soleil sur la mer, capté depuis une plage de sable, alors que s'envolent quelques dizaines de mouettes.
Du fait d'un mirage, phénomène de Fata Morgana, on voit le soleil encore au-dessus de la ligne d'horizon à hauteur de l'équivalent 1/3 de son rayon environ, alors qu'au au-dessus de la ligne d'horizon, on voit une image symétrique du bas du soleil, comme si un premier soleil était en train de finir de se coucher....
Quelques secondes plus tard, les 2 images du soleil se sont rejointes, comme si le soleil avait droit à un piédestal, ce soir....

Hier soir, fin de journée pour trois fillettes et la Fée Morgane. Ce n'est pas la première fois que je vois la pointe de Penmarc'h prendre son envol (voir un triptyque en réponse)

Photographie en couleur en format 16/9 captée dans la lumière dorée de la fin de journée depuis une plage de sable et présentant, au premier plan trois fillettes jouant sur les ruines d'un ancien canal en béton armé (qui servait d'exutoire à un étang situé derrière la dune), et surtout en arrière-plan à l'horizon, la côte d'une pointe « subissant » l'effet du mirage fata morgana et semblant par conséquent, flotter dans l'air.

Depuis, ce vieil arbre est tombé au sol, offrant encore plus facilement au ou à la photographe, des détails de texture très intéressants à capter de près comme je l'ai fait en mai 2024 (voir le lien en réponse)

Au premier plan à droite, on devine dans le contre-jour un chemin au bord du rivage avec notamment la silhouette du tronc d'un vieil arbre dont toute la ramure a été coupée et qui semble mort, mais toujours debout.
Fin du jour, fin de l'arbre…

Waiting for the train.

Recently I was experimenting with "long" exposure shots in broad daylight (in winter though) or in well lit places. There are a lot of duds with too much movement or too less. For some reasons the general public is not willing to participate in holding still so only one thing moves. But after a lot of randomly holding my camera at incoming trains, buses and other moving objects I got this one. Not a masterpiece but I still like it. The main focus was the girl with the blue backpack, that there are tons of people holding still in the blurry window reflection is a happy accident, I would like to say I planned it that way but its just happenstance. Oh well. Praise Fortuna!

Photographie en couleur, mais pratiquement monochrome avec le bleu… de l'heure bleue sous un ciel couvert, du haut de la ramure d'un arbre, où sont posés quelques étourneaux sansonnets qui terminent leur nuit passée sur cet arbre.
La photo a été prise ce matin depuis ma fenêtre en pratiquant un mouvement volontaire de rotation autour de l'axe de l'objectif.
S'il n'y a pratiquement plus de feuilles dans l'arbre, on peut voir la silhouette d'un nid de pie.

This one isn't actually that special, I saw it from a step afar but had the 75mm on the camera anyway, any other zoom lens had had worked in broad daylight as well. I actually fiddled with the raw settings a bit, a light vignetting was added that the lens actually does not do by itself, apart from that I wasn't really able to make this snapshot "better". But maybe its just a mediocre photo in the first place, but in that moment when I took it it seemed right. So here it is now, for the world to see, a part of a mundane roof with melted ice on it.
